Re: g2a primary clutch
Dry grafite lube on the shoes. It is a good low horse power replacement, diferent weights can be inserted to change shift and engagement.

Re: g2a primary clutch
Well iknow its kinda slow at engaging and anytime it gets a load on it cart bogs right down.

Re: g2a primary clutch
OK clutch school, see the 9 weights? they can be changed in sets of three equadistant apart. When you say slow to start Is it letting the engine rev or holding it back as if engaging before the engine fires hard enough to rev. If the second you can pull three pucks and try it. If better but to zingy you buy three lighter pucks and install them. It can be a chore but when a clutch is spot on what a difference it makes.

Re: g2a primary clutch
ok so i need to pull 3 pucks and try it? the pucks now are 7/8 and there are 9 now.
i never have played with pucks just weights like on sleds |
Re: g2a primary clutch
THE PUCKS ARE THE WEIGHTS oops caps

Re: g2a primary clutch
ok, so remove 3 and lower the weight to engage sooner, am i right on that because more weight makes harder launch and higher rpm to engage.

Re: g2a primary clutch
No removing weight will raise the engagment and (MAY) hit the belt a little harder for a better launch, it is something to try. But have you gone through the secondary and made sure all is working right in it. The sluggy operation could be a sacked out spring in either clutch. It can make your head spin when you start to get into them.

I have to sign off Big thunder moving in and must unplug all my toys. Flat land the power poles take the hits.
