On the first day of gun season here in NC I shot this 9 pointer, but it should have been an 11 pointer. He had broke 2 points off! For NC it is a nice size deer! I am very proud to have taken him. Most deers around here never make it to this size!

thats a nice deer8) ive been huntn all season in kentucky and only saw 7 doe's :|and i have a wide 8 point on my trail camera but never seen him out huntn yet.:cry:

I have always heard that KY has good bucks! I hunted this 9 pointer all bow season and never seen him. Don't give up you will get him! Good luck. What kind of trail cam are you using? I been thinking about buying one!

That's a nice buck. I shot a decent 8 pointer this year. The deer haven't been moving very much because of the warmer weather here in Indiana. I am hunting at Clifty Falls Park on Monday and Tuesday for archery hunt and I'm stoked. The weather has just turned cold and the place I am hunting is TORE UP. I took a decent 8 pointer from there last year and hopefully I can do a little better.

Agreed!!! I have seen the same 2 stupid does everyday that I have been out. But there is a big 8pt or so roaming around the golf course, everyone that doesnt hunt has seen him but me!!!:thumbdown::thumbdown:
