well there is a screw on carb with black plastic on it that has to be carefully removed or broken off(dont need it). and multiple places to adjust throttle cable. whats the problem? shouldnt need to fiddle with carb

New cart to me looks like a brand new carb but hesitates going up a hill. Also where should the adjustment screw for the cable be?

There is a throttle cable from pedal to governor in which the adjustment is at the pedal. also a cable from carb to governor, adjustment at governor on rear end

Don't touch the one from the pedal to the governor unless someone has already messed with it and screwed it up.

Carb adjustment is not your issue.

The governor cable has bee replace it looks brand new.

governor to pedal or governor to carb??? Thats where i would start troubleshooting. have you checked the spark plug for color.

Do you have the P/N for this Cable I dont think they put the correct cable on it.

JW8-F6311-01-00 thats the yamaha factory part number for throttle cable 1. pedal to governor
