Genuine Yamaha rebuild kits and tune up kits
So I thought I'd just try rebuilding/cleaning the carb on my G1 and I might as well tune it up since I don't know when the last time it was done. I read a post from one of the members warning about Chinese stuff and so I canceled the $24 carb I ordered and want to just stick with Yamaha parts. Where can I find these items?

Yamaha has never offered a carb rebuild kit. You can order any individual part you need or think is needed. There pretty easy to take apart and clean. Only real reason to replace one is if the throttle shaft or choke shaft bores in the main casting are damaged, and sometimes you can fix the throttle shaft bore. Good luck.
