Where does this vacuum hose go? And carb question and gas tank question
 

Hi all,

There was a hard clear plastic line off the big nipple. It burned through which I thought was weird. Does it run to the nipple on the carb? They're different sizes which I though was weird.

If not, what's the nipple on the carb with the set screw? It seems to leak gas.

And why the heck does my gas tank build up a vacuum?!

That is just a screw to loosen to empty the fuel from the bowl of the carb...prob needs to be tightened a bit and shouldn't leak...the nipple with the hard plastic doesn't go to anything it is an overflow tube...Looks like you fuel line running from the fuel pump to the carb may be leaking but hard to tell via the photo

I will check that out and tighten that screw a hair because it definitely smells like gas a lot
