Well did you use oem or aftermarket parts?

Re: Ezgo charging
If this was an older cart, I would say check the small green wire between the starter, and the middle terminal of the voltage regulator.
Since this is a newer cart, I am not familiar with exactly how it's wired, and can't tell you exactly what to look for. Same general principle though. Check the small wire coming from the starter (stamped DF) to wherever it goes. |
Re: Ezgo charging
okay i replaced the voltage regular and the green wire.....still overcharging....now what

Re: Ezgo charging
Ive never seen a ezgo over charge. Yamaha, yes, many times. The EZGO voltage regulator is the best. Make sure all your grounds are good.

Re: Ezgo charging
last night i held it wide open and my voltage meter ended up at 19.6 volts...and used 3 different meters

Re: Ezgo charging
The original starter is a good starter. If you put a cheapy aftermarket starter on,Id switch back to the original Advanced starter and see if that cures the issue. There should be nothing wrong with that starter.
