I bought their Energizers, not impressed, they seem to discharge very fast. I put new 4ga wire, full of distilled water. Should I charge them all seperately to get them all to a full 6v charge (that is a pain in the a$$, I don't mind doing it once for new batteries but I hope this will not be a regular chore) will that give me more run time?

A fresh pack will require 15 or so charge cycles to "break-in". Keep using them, they will get better.

I hope so. It seems like the more I know about these things the more that can or will go wrong. I bought it as a working cart, yes the grand kids enjoy it, but I pull logs and heavy crap with it, or just ride around picking up tree branches, now it seems like at partial throttle it heats up in that tow/maint box under the seat.
