Clean Slate - Which Block??
:help:
I currently have a 2006 EZGO TXT 2+2 with its regular tin can running on 6" lift and 23" tires. Given a 2,500 budget, which 'bolt-on' block would you recommend? Vanguard, B&S, Honda?? Some restrictions: 1. I will sink my money on the block. Besides that, I am not willing to spend a lot of money on other 'less significant mods' (headers, filters, jets, etc.) ;-). 2. Don't want something that will be too hard to mount on my cart. Therefore, jet engines, aftermarket diesel engines, etc are out of the question :-P. Regards, |
Re: Clean Slate - Which Block??
I think the only true 'bolt on' big block you are going to find is from Tom @ Dixie.

That's what I thought, but just wanted to make sure I had done my 'due diligence'. I already spoke to Tom. Cool cat, and very nice indeed.

This is the kit I would go with. They also have a 18 HP for less $$$.

Re: Clean Slate - Which Block??
My choice is the Honda kit - but unfortunately you can't touch it for $2,500.00. Are you going to lift the cart or leave it stock height?

Re: Clean Slate - Which Block??
Id go with the CPP kit. The Vangaurd and B/S motors are the same brand.
