Re: Help

This type of problem usually turns out to be an air leak problem somewhere: carb. spacer cracked or air box not completely sealed.

Seeing how I just got my golf kart,While following what you guys have said to me about my prblem,I stumble apon a very serious problem. My crankcase was full of gas.Good thing it wound not fire up.I think I may have crossed the fuel lins up on it.So I'm changing the oil and go from there:evil:

Also, check to make sure there is not a lot of trash in the carb. bowl causing the float to malfunction. If the problem continues after this, you'll need to pull the fuel pump, take it apart, and clean out the trash/grit.

p.s. at least the inside of your engine is clean now.

Yep the inside of the engine is clean.I switched the lines around and it now runs great. But I don't have enough power.I need more speed. Are there any adjustments that I can make to boost the speed up?

Re: Help

Either tighten the 10 mm nut on the governor or completely bypass the governor by hooking up the pedal cable directly to the carb.

Good call appyman. Hopefully it will just be some worn brushes.
