Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
cool nothing now got mine in. just got to plumb the fuel lines =)
i got to figure out which spot the tank fuel line goes now and where the overflow line goes then prime it and fire it up |
Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
EV, the pump should have arrows on the casting to show in and out. Overflow? carbs or what? This is stuff I know, PM me if you want. what I dont know is why Yamahaha puts sealed bearings in front wheels and no way to grease them or the spindles. I should start a new thread and ask a few questions I looking dumb tho

Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
hey doomsman yeah i looked but i dont see a arrow on the fuel pump at all
here's some pictures okay here's some pictures to help http://www.evlls1.com/cart/carb.jpg http://www.evlls1.com/cart/carb2.jpg i know the one that goes to the motor is what's making the diaphram move up and down. i checked it.. it's pumping air of course... just unsure about the two other places... it's not like my stock motor.. the old fuel pump on the stock engine had arrows on it http://www.evlls1.com/cart/exhaust.jpg |
Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
The over flow goes back to the fuel tank.

Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
You have the lines wrong, the bottom goes to the fuel tank & top left is overfolw & goes back to tank. I had a motor like that in my 1992 CC ,couldn't stand the noise so I replaced it with a 16hp Clonda, headers& a muffler.

Re: any1 put a sled motor in your cart?
Hookm is right the in let is on the bottom with the filter. the overflow was usualy looped up higher than the carb and down through the belly pan to prevent leaking during a rollover.
