36volt club car conversion to 48volt
I have a 1989 club car36 volt hunting buggie that im trying to convert to 48 volt by just adding 2 more 6 volt batteries. I have a 48 volt motor, controller, and solenoid, all stock. Do I need to get a different charger receptacle for the conversion? and where do you suggest putting the batteries themselves in the cart and where in the series of batteries?

Re: 36volt club car conversion to 48volt
We put the batteries in the bagwell and wire them into the middle of the pack in a CC. You won't need to get a new receptacle if you get the right charger.... hope this helps.

I put mine under the seat, but I'm going to do a major electrical upgrade from Scottyb, so I can make them fit.
