Welcome to the forum stan354...................
Match up the connectors for the Head Lights and the Tail Lights if there are no instructions. Next you may have 2 sets of 2 wires extra about midway of the harness. one set will be for the brake light switch and the other for the horn button. Don't forget the 2 near the head lights for the horn itself. ......... that is, of course, if it has a horn. Some kits also have connections for a dimmer switch for High & Low beams........................ |

Thanks for the info.
My turn signal kit is a 7 wire type and just wanted to get some of the wires run while waiting for it to come. |

Stan.........
For what it's worth, and I may be too late, or I may not even know what I'm talking about, but most light kits come with the complete wiring loom complete with connections already on the wires. I am assuming you know this already. You can get just the lights alone too. |
Re: Turn signal and brake light wiring
Rusty the Turn signal kit I ordered has wires to just below the column. My cart has the tail light with a 1157 bulb but is not wired like a car with a ground and one wire for each element (1 for brake and 1 for tail). It has 2 wires both to the bulb and only lites the tail light. I just trying to make scence of the whole thing.

My kit is very much like this but, it has a white wire also. I am thinking it is a separate ground ot frame but do not want to blow th esystem experimenting. Am I correct?

Re: Turn signal and brake light wiring
DO NOT GROUND TO FRAME ON AN ELECTRIC CART. You run the risk of sending pack voltage to your 12v lights, stereo, whatever.
