Headlight switch

I'd like to replace my traditional pull-push headlight switch. I've replaced a few recently. They are flimsy and wear out and break. What about something like this?

I think the toggle may be a better option.

You're right about the push-pull switch.

That toggle switch is a good choice, and you get a spare to boot!

Yep. Good choice.

Is Radio Shack making a comeback? I miss having them around here.

We have them here in Houston. This item is online only. I might drop in the store and see what they have. If the switch has 3 contacts will it still work if I just use 2 of them?

Here is another with boot to keep out water and dust.

Yes but it might not light up depending on how the switch is made to be wired.

Good Point. Might need to bring switched keyed power to the extra terminal.

They closed all the Radio Shacks here. Perhaps not the highest quality of everything but it sure was nice being able to go there and get anything you needed that day. TV connections, audio, microphone cables, mic clips etc. Stuff you can't get at Home Depot etc.

As a kid I loved radio shack. I dont believe they are doing good here. I would not be surprised if they close here as well. I hope not.

For all their faults, they gave me a $300 credit limit when i was a teenager. i always paid it and I used it a lot. At least around here they used to have people working there who were techno/electro nerds who were eager to help with any situation you had.

Really miss that.
