Comet Clutches too expensive

Why are these Comet clutches so expensive? are the made of gold?you can buy a minibike clutch for 60 do they have some patten on it? they seem to be the only CVT type clutch around.

A minibike clutch doesn't even compare to a golf cart CVT. And yes, these cmpanies have patents on their products. A year ago you couldn't find a Comet.

There is Also the 06 Serie (not "series") from CVech at Cart Parts Plus as well as the Team industries P80-P90 style clutch. (Polaris type)
