LED Headlight Help

2 Attachment(s)
I just installed a Madjax Ultimate Street Legal Upgrade Kit to my EXISTING led headlights and tail lights. Everything works except no headlights or rear running lights. The flashers work front and back, turn signals work correctly front and back, and the horn works also. There is a purple wire labeled Upgrade Headlight Power. Where do I hook this up? The Madjax instructions are pretty crappy and I don't seem to have the wire they a saying to hook it to. PLEASE Help. I am about to get this thing inspected and I need headlights for when its dark. Thanks for your help.

Would the purple wire need to be hooked up to the positive output side of a 48 to 12 volt voltage reducer?

We can see the diagram, but it’s difficult to see what exactly you’ve done to this point. What’s with the butt connector with one end with nothing in it, and what’s going on with that blue clip/compression looking thing?

Do you have 12v to the purple wire?

Hi Orangeman6!
Thank you for the response. The Blue wire with the Blue empty butt connector is the low voltage memory wire for a radio that will come later. The bundled wires there with it are coming off of the 12 volt reducer.
The Blue compression clip splices the switched positive for the 12 volt reducer into the key ignition to turn on and off the 12 volt reducer.( I did cut extra wire and connector off at the compression splice) The cart came with the led headlights and tail lights. I am adding the turn signal kit. Everything when nice and smooth and works(horn, blinkers, turn signals, brake lights) except no headlights or rear running lights. I just don't know where to hook this purple wire. The directions did not really explain where the wire went or what it did. Literally all it said was "Blue from light kit Harness" with the picture. I did not see any other wires aside from the brake pad wires and the horn wires on the 9 pin light harness in the cart. I don't know if this purple wire needs to be hooked into the switch positive like the reducer or if it needs a constant 12 volts. I just don't know. I did get talked to about a hour ago in my neighborhood by our crosswalk police officer. He is a really nice guy but said I need to get it registered and plated asap.
Thanks for any help you can give or If you know someone you can tag that could help that would be great. Thanks again for at least responding!

Where is your headlight switch in this equation? I assume it should hook up to that?
