Replacing cord on charger
 

We replaced the cord on the charger and, of course, the various wires were different colors than the last cord. Is there a good way, short of plugging it into the cart, to make sure it's hooked up correctly? If not, what's the worst that will happen if it isn't?

Check the polarity with a volt ohm meter.

Is the cord replacement for 120 volt AC ( house power ) or pack voltage 36 or 48 volts DC? Many sponsors have exact cord with correct colors on each wire in cable, so there is no problems with replacement.

Yeah, that picture is what I'm afraid of! I'll try the ohm meter...it's for household power but the colors were all different...go figure!

Household power should be black white and green. Black is the HOT, white is the NEUTRAL, and green is the GROUND

I wonder if the cord that ISLANDHARDWARE used was some made in China like so much junk coming into USA now days, and they dont understand that USA has a standard of colors for AC cord? I saw a roll of AC cord ( NO MANUFACTURER OR COUNTRY LABEL ) like that in Home Depot the other day that had different colored insulated leads inside? I sure wouldnt want to use it because when I moved leads the insulation cracked and fell off in flakes?? Really high quality stuff HUH?
