I'm excited
And i haven't even got the cart back yet. It's coming home tomorrow from having a 350 W/ a 295 head installed. http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...mages/jive.gif
I know, I farmed it out instead of doing it my self due to other projects with the race cars and needing it done in a hurry to make the race it was just easier to have somone else do this . I realize that with it still having the factory ignition it wont be much (if any) faster on the top end but I can't wait to see how it gets off the line and gets up to speed. Should be a good start for the rest of the mods I have planed for it. http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...es/driving.gif |

Re: I'm excited
Well I got it back today and boy what a difference. http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...es/shifter.gif This thing is moving
I can't wait to get rid of the Gov and rev limiter and do acouple other mods to see what kind of potential this thing has. Here's a couple more pics. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...olfcart005.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...olfcart004.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...olfcart003.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...olfcart002.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...olfcart001.jpg I think a shorter/wider belt is goning on right about the same time I put the MSD on. That thing is loose as all get out and rides alot lower in the driven than I think it should. Tony, your gonna love it when you get yours done http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...lies/devil.gif |
Re: I'm excited
Bill, you should look into getting Tom at CPP to fix up your driven clutch. You should have enough power so the lower gearing the shorter belts offer isn't going to be as important. The machining of the driven clutch will give you more top end and help with the pulling/towing. At least check into it..

Re: I'm excited
Part of what I was thinking was going to high speed gears (haven't decided which ratio yet) and the shorter belt to help get some of the low end back .
Should I be rethinking that? I do need to be able to pull a door car with it from time to time. |
Re: I'm excited
Was that my hulla-hoop?
