Street Legal
The Indiana State Police has just issued a press release on golf carts.
Here is the link to the press release: http://indianalawblog.com/documents/...egolfcarts.pdf Here is the link to Title 9 of the Indiana Code: http://www.in.gov/legislative/ic/code/title9/index.html Here is the link to the Lebanon Chatter: http://lebanonchatter.com/showthread...857#post108857 I've always said, "Something is not right when a moped can be on the street running 15 MPH, with a 15 year old kid in the saddle. And I can't get out there in my Golf Car and run 45 MPH because it's not electric!" |

Re: Street Legal
It is spreading state by state and there is enough confusion in many laws that it just about insures no enforcement. I mean between bicycles, horse and buggies, runners, tractors, etc what is one more. In KY we are to have slow moving triange and live within 5 miles of the golf course so if one goes 5 miles and does not find a course I guess he is to just go back home and look another day. :)
