Re: Speed sensor
Its goes slow...real slow...IMHO the speed sensor is a safety device that allows the controller to read real motor rpms,

Re: Speed sensor
I just drove a customers yesterday that had the speed sensor unpluged at the motor and it ran fine at least 20 mph i never seen one do that anyone know why.

Re: Speed sensor
possibly not a stock controller?

Re: Speed sensor
yes everything is stock.someone out there knows how to bypass the sensor be interested to know how they did it.

Re: Speed sensor
Probably a high-speed magnet installed but the sensor was still connected.

Re: Speed sensor
Regen 1 and 2 carts run just fine without the speed sensor hooked up.

Re: Speed sensor
Your IQ carts' controller will look for the signal coming from the speed sensor. If it does not detect it, it will place you in Limp Mode. If you have it unplugged, then you have a faulty controller as I have played with them for testing with a hand-held, but never seen a way to bypass it and it still operate correctly without a signal. (Unless it was an aftermarket controller where you disable the speed limit)

To the OP, can we get a vehicle serial number? Maybe it's not really a 2004. |
