Picked Up A 82 Club Car Today

Got in a 1982 DS Club Car today 36v. Would like to know what my options are on getting more torque out of it? Would like to put a bed on it and lift it for hunting and hauling deer out. I know its old but 100.00 couldn't turn it down with a rear seat and windshield.

Thanks in Advance! ! !

Not too old I picked up an 85 today also for $100. Needs some work but all around pretty good shape!

It will need a new front cowl and I was wondering what all you can do to these as far as motor options etc......?

Easiest way to pick up ( TORQUE ) is to convert from resistors to solid state controls and go 48 volts using your existing 36 volt motor if its in good condition "NOTE 48 volts will not damage motor" ( I always recommend having motors repaired "BRUSHES, BEARINGS IF NEEDED, ETC" before using at any voltage but especially at 48 volts ). By using existing motor and going 48 volts it will be like a motor power update.
Also replace "ALL" 6 guage cables including cables to motor and F&R control and go to 4 guage electric welding multi strand cables to handle increased amp flow.
By going to solid state controls and 48 volts means adding ( Curtis PB-6 pedal control, Alltrax 300-400 amp Controller, HD solenoid, beefing up F&R control, 4 guage power wiring, 8 volt batterys, or adding to additional 6 volt batterys, etc )
If you can get by WITHOUT LIFTING CART and going with larger diameter tires the torque will be more noticable? If clearance is a problem then lifting and tires may be needed.

Mec.

sounds good but may just sell it. Thought about keeping it just to use because don't really want to trash my 06 that I am building now. May just put a set of batteries in it and run it? Oh yea checked and its a 86' not an 82'

Thanks
