2003 workhorse wiring diagram
I have a 2003 workhorse ST480 with a briggs & stratton engine it will not shut off with the foot pedal I think it may be the switch I need a wiring diagram if anyone knows where I could find one thanks!

Any suggestions on why briggs engine will not shut off when foot pedal is up,I have been grounding the stud on the fan shround to the coils to kill it!

You will need to create a kill system. The original Robin 2 cylinder engine had a pulsar, module & coil system. It took (+) power from the ignition switch to power the coil and module. The Briggs has a magneto type coil that generates it's own power to create the spark. I have used a relay on those to hold the ground path "open" when the engine is running and let it close to ground when the pedal is released to kill the spark.

I bypassed the ignition shut off module with a short wire,it now shuts off with the pedal thanks for the suggestions!
