no solenoid click,CC
I have a 96 CC converted to series with Alltrax SPM
and heavy duty solenoid to match controller. While driving car stopped running and no click form solenoid. Could someone tell me diagnosis procedure so I can get cart home. |
Re: no solenoid click,CC
First thing is to check the 2 small posts on the solenoid and see if you have the 48 volts required to activate it. Place one probe on each small post and DVM set on DC volts.
Key On, in Fwd on the FNR and Go pedal depressed far enough to hear the microswitch in the throttle click. |
Re: no solenoid click,CC
I want to thank everybody who viewed and thought
about the problem. I hae checked all electrical and finally "fixed" problem by tapping on the controller with a screwdriver and cart started to move again like nothing ever happened. I guess I will need a new, expensive, controller. Thanks again. |
Re: no solenoid click,CC
Is your Solenoid mounted on the Controller using a bracket?

Re: no solenoid click,CC
No, they are mounted seperately but close together.

Re: no solenoid click,CC
Check all of your small wire connections. Make sure they are clean and tight. Everything inside that controller is potted in resin. Tapping the control with a screw driver could not effect the internals much at all.
