lift and wheel spacer question

good morning all, i have my stock 1993 36v vglide DS and just bought the 6" double a-arm lift and 22" tires on 3/5 offset wheels.
i did a search on wheels spacers and didn't come up with much so im going to ask you all your opinions on running 2" wheels spacers all the way around to get a wider stance and more stability, also like the look. is the going to mess with the steering geometry causing the tires to turn to much and possibly lock? or will the tires rub? is it worth moving front axle forward? or should i like stick with leaving is without spacers?
thank s in advance.

Re: lift and wheel spacer question

I think I would try the lift kit, and the 3/5 offset wheels first and see how you like the look.

Adding a 2" spacer can't be good for the bearing and bushing wear to the suspension/drive line front or rear.

As for Steering Geometry we will have to wait for someone smarter than I to answer that question.

For my curiosity which 22" tire did you buy, can you share a photo or link?

Thank you,
Aflyer

No problem, I know exactly which tires they are, have them on one of my cars.

Thank you,

Re: lift and wheel spacer question

Depending on what you use the cart for, the biggest drawback to using spacers is more of your tire will be on the outside of the fenders, meaning more water/dirt/mud will be thrown up on the sides of the cart and possibly on occupants ,,, unless you're also going to install fender flares.

And as Aflyer mentioned , spacers do put more strain on the hub/axle bearings, so down the road you may be replacing them prematurely.
