Would this apply to the key switch http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/...psde89be1e.jpg And this apply to the meter and the switch? http://i1310.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5ebda087.jpg |
Re: Auto zone key switch and battery meter
That switch will work, can you find the simple on/off terminals on it?
Do you have a 2 wire switch now? |
Re: Auto zone key switch and battery meter
The back has 4 posts.
Accessory Battery Ignition The fourth is not labeled and comes out the center. I have no switch and no wires to start with as of now. Will be starting from scratch. PS ( new solenoid you sent me is awesome, old was getting to hot, this one runs nice and cool!!) |
Re: Auto zone key switch and battery meter
Wired it to battery and ignition, that's what gives me continuity when switched from off to on.
I have a wire from b+ going to the micro switch on my f&r, will it suffice to wire this switch in between that wire? |
Re: Auto zone key switch and battery meter
Yes, if I understand your intention; the battery B+ comes to teh key switch (KS) and then goes to the F&R micro switch (MS)? That would work.
