Full speed forward, full speed reverse

1999 Ezgo TXT K299 1217526
No matter how hard peddle is pushed, it's straight to full speed forward or reverse.
Pictures may help.

What is the throttle input signal reading?

Have you changed the controller or ??

When did this problem start?

I picked this cart up in a similar condition.
Initially the cart moved very slow forward and faster in reverse. Which led me to the quick fix up pulling the orange wire out of ms4, which gave me full speed in both directions. As you can see from the carts 'inards' it has been to hell and back. I will get the throttle readings from the attached image this evening and report back.

Are you sure that serial number is correct?

Here is what I get when I plug it into the EZGO serial number look-up website
Search Results

Make: TXT

Type: Electric 36 V

Model: TXT Standard (DCS)

Year: 1999

That says it rolled out of the factory as a DCS, but the F/R and controller is now for a Series type drive. Ouch!!

Re: Full speed forward, full speed reverse

This frankencart is full of surprises. I opened the pedal box and put the DVM to the white wire and the readings were jumping around (due to going full throttle once solenoid clicks), go back check the ipad too make sure it was correct. Back to cart, hit the accelerator once, twice then hook DVM back in and small spark comes from somewhere around f&r switch when I press pedal. Stay with me here, all the sudden I have nice slow speed speed after solenoid click and increasing speed as pedal is pressed.
Another thing I noticed with rear lifted, after pressing pedal to full speed for a second the rear right tire immediately stops spinning and left dwindles down after 30 seconds or so. I am loosing serious power from that inefficient wheel. Once I pop that wheel off should I be checking brake drum or bearings or ??? First?

Open differential is one wheel random drive.

What EXACTLY is producing a spark?

The spark was a one time thing.

Does this make my wheel spinning normal?
