T - 875 vs T - 890
 
I checked with a golf cart place about some new batteries. I wanted T-890 but they said that the difference in the cost between the T-875 and T-890 doesn't justified the extra power and recommended I get the T-875. What do you think about this? Thanks

Most people would agree, the cost difference is significant but the amperage capacity is noticeable. Check out TH's ezgo build. He got the 890 because he asked which are the best 8v I can get. :thumbup:

What is a fair price to pay for a T-890?

ask your self this question " do you need more runtime for what you are going to use the cart for"

If you are not going to be running the cart for a long period of time, then you can stick with 875"s. You dont get longer life, and you dont get more power, just longer run time.

So would U say he would get more power for a longer period of time ?

More power? The batteries will be able to deliver the required amprage for a longer period of time, before dropping below the recommended voltage level.

So if after that round of golf U wanted to got to the corner market,
U may not have ti charge again. Thanks for clearing that up.

Now another ?, what is the part # for the OBC field service kit, what is included, where can U get it?

Aj, Trojan Battery company agrees with you. This chart from them shows more charge cycles in the life of the battery at a shallower discharge.

I paid $165 each for mine. That was the best price I could find. I do believe that the price difference is worth it if you want the best you can get for your cart and especially if you have perfomance upgrades that suck more juice.
