12V accessories on a gas cart
I have the following accessories running into the 12V battery of a 2013 EZ GO Express Gas cart:
-Headlights w/ LED bulbs & taillights -Halo LED ring lights spliced into headlight wires -40" LED light bar -15" LED light bar -LED underbody light kit (12 pieces) -Kenwood single din radio -Kicker 2 x 6.5" speakers w/ LED lights -Kenwood 75W x 2 Amp -Rocker switches w/ LED backlight & built-in USB charge port Is this too many accessories running on one battery? Should I anticipate any issues in the long run? Does anyone recommend a different setup? Note: I had everything running last night for Halloween and did not experience any problems. Drove around start/stop for a good 2 hours. |

If you leave them on for a long time they will kill your battery, as you obviously already know. That would be the only major problem I can think of.
You could add a second 12V deep cycle battery and charge it separately if it becomes a problem, I suppose. |
Re: 12V accessories on a gas cart
If you run into issues killing the battery, just get an Optima red top and call it a day. That battery will probably outlive the golf cart :lhmo:
