We're expecting a gain from 19 mph to about 24 mph & at least 50% more torque, I think what he said. I'm waiting to get info on if I need the resistor & diode anymore or not with this set-up. I'll GPS the speed once done, I'd like to just upgrade the motor clock it then do the controller upgrade but I want to make sure they are ok with that first.

After reading up looks like the controller has the pre-charge resistor built in and the adaptor board has the diode, I should be set.

The controler says D&D motor systems, but it's clearly an alltrax, and it came from plum quick?

Yup, it says alltrax on the side but D&D supplies them & PQ programmed it for my application.
I need to check the settings out but I'm tapped out on this cart right now, will have to do it later unless someone has a poor mans way of doing it. The software is free and i have it, I just need to interface with the controller.

No need to mess with it really. It looks like the PQ motor uses the same field maps used for the D&D 502 motor. D&D is an Alltrax Distributor. They buy in large quantities and Alltrax programs and prints labels for these large orders.

I'm pretty sure you need the diode and resistor on the solenoid.

Not according to the instructions from Alltrax/D&D but it was clear that if you left them it wasn't an Issue, maybe I should scan the booklet, It may be useful.

Im not sure what you are looking at but the Alltrax manual recommends at lease a 100v 1A diode on the solenoid.
