2003 DS Series Potentiometer failure?
 

I am only getting power at 3/4 throttle, and when wot, it may hit 5mph. Batteries are Trojan, 5months old, brand new Alltrax 500amp controller bought from ScottyB, Solenoid and 2g Wiring. Stock motor and F&R switch for now. I checked the contunity between the green and yellow off the Controller and cant get any reading at all. Does nothing. With that, should it even work at all?? Also, there is a code flashing 2green and 6 red on the controller until it actually moves the wheels, then flashes green like its OK, which says in the controller manual that low throttle under range is the code for that. Is this reversly affected by the bad pot or is there an issue in the programming?? I'm pretty mechanically inclined, and dont want to go guessing on swapping parts, but this is my first complete DS build from the ground up, and want it right.
