25 inch tires on RXV!!

I have a 2012 48v RXV with danaher controller. I believe it has freedom mode programmed since it runs 19-20mph with stock wheels and tires. Really debating on lifting and putting bigger tires. My first post was in The technical troubleshooting section regarding torque, gearing, and potential issues that may arise with bigger tires. Have heard some say 23” tires are fine no issues and other say power will be severely hurt with potential damage long term to motor etc... I see buggies on line with wheels looking to be off a Bad Boy Buggy running 25” tires on an RXV. To me these look awesome! But I definitely don’t want to damage my cart just going for a cool “look” what are your options? Anyone running 25” inch tires with only a loft / new wheels and tires?

From what I’ve heard you would be best to get Curtis controller have it programmed etc... to run 23” tires but I’m thinking is this is even worth it? Almost $3k invested in wheels/tires, lift, and controller that still may have potential issues. Maybe a RXV is not the right cart to be lifting??

RXVLife that’s great looking ride. I appreciate the input, I’m thinking of just going with 23” tires and seeing how my RXV reacts.

I've got 23" on mine and mine hauls. Need to check it with GPD but runs 25+. Was told when I bought it that it ran 28 but I say it's closer to 25 mph. My brother has a cart in Michigan and is running wheel adapters on his with SBS wheels snd 25" tires, long travel lift and 600 amp controller.
