SWEET FANCY MOSES! No thanks, my frame strength is still intact with my spindle lift. :)
 Humm..........homemade Z lift. I do like the hose clamps on the rear leafs.
Oh yes a fine job!!! it ride like its going to fall apart
I would be scared to turn the wheel. Dang! How wobbly was the front end? And are the hose clamps the only thing keeping that block from sliding back and forth: besides the one u-bolt? Does the backend even flex at all?
it does have a piece of all thread through the square tube my man I have to talk to this guy, its bad..
well the rear is bads but the front is a z lift... although it isnt slanted forward slightly to allow for the tie rod to move properly z lifts are alot stronger than spindle lifts and add strenth to that section of the frame ... not decrease it...not just my opinion... these are facts....but yes the back is bad....just cut a u notch in the square tubing and it will be fine
I have heard that the Z lifts are very strong. It looks like the strength would be weakened a little in the side to side area since your loosing the I beam configuration and also dropping about 6 inches on the front. I'm just thinking out loud here and stating an opinion for discussion.

how thick are the plates that were used? the sparkie that I had had a z lift. I beat the heck out of it without problems. that rear though...
BTW I am sure your customer appreciates you splashing hiis lack of knowledge all over the net! Was he even the one to do the lift? -Aaron |
