Default stunt /go fast button

has anyone seen something called a stunt button or go fast button.there is a shop here where I live that has put one of these on my buddys cart . and I was seeing if anyone has see or done this . from a dead stop u can take off and get up to speed and hit the button and it picks u up a good amount of speed . it has an extra solenoid that hooks to the motors then its is hooked to the horn button . this really works . I am looking to hook one up on mine . as soon as I find out how its hooked up I will share the info or if anyone of yall know how its hooked up share plez.

I put a go fast button on my 84V AC cart…

Lift the cover, hit the toggle…

Goes from 30 MPH right up to 47.4MPH

Actually my AC controller has two separate programs. A golf program where RPM is limited, and the street button which uses a higher max motor rpm. The toggle switch merely changes between one program and the other.

A bit different than a DC system...

With the right controller, a couple extra batteries , an additional contractor, and a DPDT switch, I don't see why you couldn't wire something together. I'm sure there are people on the forum that have done this

It may be a simple "Field Weakening" solenoid.

Here is a thread where I posted a diagram for one with some safety features and discussion about potential pitfalls of the approach.

the cart he has is a 36v system with a 400amp axe controller and he is stock height. I have a 36v system with a 500amp axe controller with a big lift . if we line up and take off I take him unless he uses his button and he walks away from me and only thing he has is the "go fast button" big solenoid ran to the horn button and 2 big wires from the solenoid to 2 posts on the motor
